Actor Alia Bhatt made a stunning appearance at the Red International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia recently. She took to Instagram to share pictures from the film festival with the caption, 'Smile. Sparkle. Saudi'.

For the event, she wore a shimmery off-shoulder top with a figure-hugging skirt.

During an engaging conversation, Alia shared a delightful anecdote about meeting her husband Ranbir Kapoor for the first time when she was 9.

She revealed that she worked as a child artist on a Sanjay Leela Bhansali project, where Ranbir served as an assistant director.

‘Actually the one time my mother was okay for me to be a child actor was when I was nine because of Sanjay Leela Bhansali cause he was making a movie. And I walked into his office and who was assisting Sanjay Leela Bhansali at that time? Ranbir,’ she said.

Adding a humorous touch, Alia mentioned, ‘Obviously that time he was not an actor so I didn't even know, I wasn't even looking at him, I was looking at SLB. I was like, ‘This is the director, I am looking at him.’’

Alia further said, ‘There's a photo of us from that audition that I did for that movie that we were gonna do at that time which I still have with me.’

Ranveer Singh and Katrina Kaif also graced the event.

Ranveer Singh was honored with the prestigious Honorary Yusr Award for his remarkable contributions to the film industry.

Alongside Ranveer Singh, Hollywood actor Diane Kruger and Saudi actor-writer Abdullah Al-Sadhan were also recognized with this esteemed award. Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif made a stunning appearance on the red carpet during the Women In Cinema Gala.

Currently, Alia Bhatt is engrossed in the filming of ‘Jigra,’ a project she's not only starring in but also co-producing with Karan Johar.

Directed by Vasan Bala, this action-packed film is keeping her occupied. This year, she ventured into Hollywood with ‘Heart of Stone,’ sharing the screen with Gal Gadot.

Additionally, her performance in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ not only struck gold at the box office but also garnered glowing reviews from critics and audiences alike.
