Megastar Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog on Thursday night and recalled the ‘pleasant times’ he spent with late filmmaker Yash Chopra and his wife Pamela Chopra. Big B, who has been recovering from a rib injury over the last few weeks, had resumed work on Thursday and that’s when the news of noted singer-producer Pamela Chopra’s demise reached him.
Taking to his blog, he wrote that with the sudden news ‘life comes to a standstill.’ ‘So much to have spent with her and the film making and the music sittings and the outdoors and the homely get togethers .. all gone in a breath .. And one by one they all leave us .. All left with the pleasant times spent ..’ he wrote.
Amitabh Bachchan visited the Chopra residence with his son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on Thursday. Big B has worked with Yash Chopra in several films and they shared a close bond.
Pamela Chopra passed away in Mumbai at 74 due to pneumonia-related complications.
