The pre-wedding celebrations for Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani are underway. Following an opulent mameru ceremony, the couple enjoyed a dandiya night, sangeet, and grih shanti puja. On July 8, they celebrated their haldi ceremony. Photos and videos showcasing the beautifully decorated residence and the guests in attendance are being widely shared online.
The haldi ceremony was an intimate event, attended by family members and a few celebrities, including Salman Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, and Ananya Panday.
Actor Ranveer Singh was spotted covered in haldi as he left the event. He also waved at the paparazzi before getting into his car.
Anil and Tina were seen covered in haldi as they exited Antilia after the ceremony. Anil held Tina's hand and greeted the paparazzi before leaving.
The Ambanis welcomed their guests with a delightful Indian treat made from a betel leaf filled with a variety of sweet jam-like spreads, tutti-frutti, cherries, chopped dates, and more.
Ranveer was seen enjoying the exquisite taste of the paan. He looked stylish in a yellow kurta and sported a classic half-up, half-down man bun.
Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh performed at Anant and Radhika’s sangeet last weekend. Ranveer, accompanied by his actor-wife Deepika Padukone, danced to Salman Khan’s popular song ‘Ishq Di Galli Vich’ from David Dhawan’s film ‘No Entry’. Meanwhile, Salman performed with Anant to his hit song ‘Aisa Pehli Baar Hua Hai’ at the event.
In addition to Salman and Ranveer, pop star Justin Bieber also took the stage on July 5 night to perform at Anant and Radhika’s wedding sangeet ceremony. Justin broke the internet with performances of his popular songs such as ‘Baby,’ ‘Never Let You Go,’ and ‘Where Are U Now.’ In a video shared by Bollywood Hungama, Justin was also seen singing ‘Where Are U Now’ with Orhan Awatramani, also known as Orry.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are set to marry on July 12 at the Jio World Centre. Following the grand wedding, the Ambanis will host an Aashirwad ceremony on July 13, and a grand wedding reception on July 14, all in Mumbai, according to the leaked wedding invitation.
