Ananya Panday has garnered attention for her standout performance in Vikramaditya Motwane’s cyber-thriller, CTRL. The film delves into the dark side of technology, exploring how social media affects our lives.
In a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, Ananya shared her views on certain apps that she believes should be eliminated.
Initially naming Reddit, she quickly shifted her focus to Photoshop, expressing a desire to see people's natural appearance without the influence of editing tools. 'I want to see how people look without their photoshopping filters,' she explained.
Motwane, the film's director also, suggested that the X platform should be discarded. He previously hinted at a potential sequel, revealing that CTRL had a different ending initially planned for its protagonist. “In Nella’s case, she’s doomed. She’s gone down that rabbit hole again,” he stated.
In a discussion with Raunaq Rajani for Netflix India, Ananya reflected on her character, Nella, emphasizing her relatability in a tech-driven world. “CTRL explores how we navigate the fine line between our online presence and who we are in real life,” she shared.
