Evergreen actor Anil Kapoor continues to give a tough competition to the younger stars with his ‘jhakas’ acting skills and good looks. He has been part of the entertainment industry for over 4 decades and has worked in more than 100 films. He won a National Award for his performance in ‘Pukar’.

‘Slumdog Millionaire’ (2008)
The Danny Boyle directorial is a loose adaptation of the novel ‘Q & A’ by Vikas Swarup. Anil Kapoor starred as Prem Kumar, the host of Indian version of ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?'. The film narrated the story of Jamal Malik, a teenager from the slums of Mumbai, who manages to answer all the questions correctly at a game show and emerges a winner. When probed under suspicion of cheating, he revisits his past and reveals how he knew all the answers. The Dev Patel and Freida Pinto starrer won eight Oscars.
‘Welcome’ (2007)
Anil Kapoor portrayed the role of Majnu bhai, a gangster in this comedy-drama. The Anees Bazmee directorial had an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, and Nana Patekar among others.
The film shows how two thugs want to fix their sister's wedding with Rajiv, who belongs to a respectable family. However, Rajiv's uncle refuses to the match and a series of hilarious situations take place.
‘Pukar’ (2000)
Anil Kapoor won a national award for his role as a military officer in the film. He was paired opposite Madhuri Dixit in this Rajkumar Santoshi action thriller.
Major Jaidev rescues a politician from a dreaded terrorist. However, the terrorist joins hands with his childhood friend Anjali to ruin his life.
‘Ram Lakhan’ (1989)
Directed by Subhash Ghai, the film starred Rakhee, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, and Madhuri Dixit among others. Anil played the role of Lakhan, brother of an upright police officer Ram. Lakhan vows to avenge the death of his father who was killed by two wicked tricksters.
‘Mr India’ (1987)
This superhero film starred Anil Kapoor alongside Sridevi and Amrish Puri. Anil portrayed the role of Arun, who lives with orphaned children. He is harassed by a gangster who is after his house. After one of the children dies, he uses his father's invisibility watch to fight back.
