'Animal' Day 2 box office collection : Ranbir Kapoor starrer roars, grosses THIS much

'Animal', starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Anil Kapoor, is roaring at the box office, breaking records.

According to reports in Sacnilk Entertainment, after a thunderous opening, the action thriller performed well on its second day at the box office and earned Rs 66 crore net in India.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has earned Rs 130.07 crore so far at the domestic box office in all languages.

Globally, it has created a record by minting Rs 129.80 crore.

Day 2 showcased a slight rise in collections, reaching an impressive ₹66.59 crore.

The Hindi version remained dominant with ₹59.87 crore, while the Telugu and Tamil versions displayed commendable performances at ₹6.28 crore and ₹44 lakh, respectively.

This growth from Day 1 to Day 2 indicated a steady and promising interest in the film, marking a 4.37% increase.

As 'Animal' strides into its third day, advance booking data paints a picture of sustained momentum.

The Hindi 2D format amassed over ₹32 crore in gross advance bookings, selling more than 11 lakh tickets at an Average Ticket Price (ATP) of ₹226 across 14,741 shows.

The Telugu version followed suit with a gross of ₹2.4 crore from 1.5 lakh tickets sold at an ATP of ₹141 across 2,141 shows.

The Tamil version closely trailed, boasting an advance gross of ₹1.5 crore from 13,792 tickets sold at an ATP of ₹116 over 518 shows.

Meanwhile, the Kannada and Malayalam versions recorded bookings of ₹3.6 lakh and ₹670, with ticket sales of 2,551 and 5, respectively.

A special mention goes to the Hindi IMAX 2D version, which garnered a remarkable ₹9 lakh from 14,768 tickets sold for 109 shows, highlighting the film's appeal in premium formats.

With an impressive All India advance booking gross of ₹35.59 crore, 'Animal' sets the stage for a powerful weekend performance, with a projected 3-day collection of over ₹165 crore.

Additionally, the overseas collection within the first two days is estimated at around ₹40 crore, positioning the movie to breach the ₹200-crore mark today.
