Ranbir Kapoor's recent film ‘Animal,’ which was released on December 1, fell victim to piracy shortly after its theatrical release.
The movie was leaked on Torrent platforms, Telegram, and even circulated in HD on WhatsApp channels. Several scenes, including intense moments between Ranbir and Rashmika, as well as scenes featuring Triptii Dimri with Ranbir, were leaked and widely shared on social media.
Triptii's role in the film was kept confidential until the movie's premiere.
In a pivotal scene, Ranbir's character cheats on Rashmika Mandanna's role, engaging intimately with Triptii's character named Zoya, sparking viral discussions online.
Despite mixed reviews from both fans and critics, Ranbir Kapoor's film has been a box office hit, accumulating over Rs 360 crore globally within just three days of release.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga's movie surpassed Siddharth Anand's ‘Pathaan’ in its three-day collection, though it fell short of the record set by Atlee Kumar's Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Jawan.’
What Ranbir said about ‘Animal’
Talking about the title of the movie, Ranbir had told ANI, ‘Once you see the film, you will understand. I think the reason why Sandeep Reddy Vanga called this film Animal is because animal behaves out of instinct. They don't behave out of thought.’
