Anupam Kher breaks down at the screening of Satish Kaushik’s last film, watch video

Late actor Satish Kaushik’s last film ‘Kaagaz 2’ is all set to release in theatres on March 1. A special screening of the film was held in Mumbai. It was also attended by Kaushik’s wife and daughter. 

Anupam Kher speaks to Kaushik’s family 

Actor Anupam Kher shared a video on his Instagram, in which he is seen speaking to Satish’s wife Shashi Kaushik and their daughter Vanshika. In the video, that’s going viral, Kher asked Vanshika about the film. To this, Satish’s daughter replied, “Bahut achhi (very good).” The actor then asked her about what else she liked in the film other than her father, Vanshika said, “Aapka role (Your role).” 

Anupam Kher also spoke to Satish Kaushik’s wife and asked her opinion about the film. Shashi Kaushik said, “I liked the film. All the characters were very good. I like Satish’s work a lot.”  
Praising the performance of Satish Kaushik, his ‘Kaagaz 2’ co-star Kher said that it is one of Satish’s best performances. “I also missed him,” he added.  

Anupam’s emotional caption 

Sharing the video of his interaction with Kaushik’s family, Anupam Kher wrote on his Instagram, “After the soulful 1st screening of Satish Kaushik’s ‘Kaagaz 2’ it was quite an emotional moment to speak to Vanshika and Shashi Kaushik. What an amazing issue based last film of my friend Satish! Releasing on 1st March. Jai Ho!

With Satish Kaushik and Anupam Kher in the lead roles, the film raises the issue of inconveniences and challenges faced by common man due to rallies and protests. The trailer shows Satish’s character fighting for the cause after he loses his injured daughter because of one such road block. Besides Satish and Kher, the film also stars Darshan Kumar, Anant Desai, Neena Gupta, Smriti Kalra in key roles. Directed by VK Prakash, the film will be released on March 1.
