Anupam Kher, Chunky Panday, Shakti Kapoor and others come together to celebrate David Dhawan's birthday

David Dhawan celebrated his 71st birthday on Tuesday. On his special day, the director had a reunion with his industry friends Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, Shakti Kapoor, Chunky Panday and Rajpal Yadav. His son Varun Dhawan and actors Kartik Aaryan, Arjun Kapoor and others were also present at the party.

Anupam Kher took to Instagram and shared a few pictures from the celebrations and wrote, ‘With birthday boy #DavidDhawan and my dearest friends who I have spent some memorable times with!! We are the best! #Friends #Actors.’

The first picture features Anupam sharing a light moment with David and the last picture shows actors, Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, Chunky Panday, Rajpal Yadav and Shakti Kapoor, posing for the group picture.

‘The Kashmir Files’ actor’s post has received immense love from fans. A fan commented, ‘Too much talent in one picture,’ while another wrote that they are ‘growing old gracefully.’

Celebrities like Sara Ali Khan and Maniesh Paul also extended their best wishes for the director on social media.

‘Hero No 1’, ‘Biwi No 1’, ‘Judwaa’, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, ‘Haseena Maan Jaayegi’ and ‘Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge’ are some of David Dhawan’s best films.

His film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, which starred Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda, is all set to be remade.
