Anupam Kher pays tribute and pens an emotional note for his close friend Satish Kaushik: 'I forgive you'

Actor Satish Kaushik passed away at 66 on March 9 and left his fans and family heartbroken. He died in Delhi after suffering a major heart attack. The whole industry and fans expressed their condolences towards the veteran actor. His close friend Anupam Kher recently took to social media and penned a heartfelt note for the late actor.

Anupam posted a video of him offering flowers in front of the picture of his late friend Satish Kaushik. He captioned the post 'जा!!! तुझे माफ़ किया! मुझे अकेला छोड़ कर जाने के लिए!! (Go!!! I forgive you! to leave me alone) I will surely find you in people’s laughter! But will miss our friendship on a day to day basis!! अलविदा मेरे दोस्त! तेरा फ़ेवरिट गाना लगाया है बैकग्राउंड में! तू भी क्या याद करेगा!!' (Good bye my friend! Your favorite song is playing in the background!)

Satish Kaushik recently featured in the web series 'Pop Kaun?' and has many films due for release. He is best known for his roles as Calendar in ‘Mr. India’, Pappu Pager in ‘Deewana Mastana’. He also directed several movies like 'Tere Naam', 'Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai' among others.

He has won the Filmfare Best Comedian Award twice – for ‘Ram Lakhan’ in 1990 and for ‘Saajan Chale Sasural’ in 1997.
