Actor Anushka Sharma and her cricketer husband Virat Kohli pleasantly surprised paparazzi with a gift hamper.
The couple, who recently welcomed son, Akaay, sent the hampers as a token of gratitude for respecting their privacy.
Anushka and Virat requested photographers to refrain from taking pictures of their children. Appreciating the cameramen's compliance, they decided to show their appreciation with the gifts.
‘We sincerely thank you for respecting the privacy of our children and for your unwavering cooperation,’ read Virushka's note.
The gift basket included a power bank, a bag for on-the-go storage, what appeared to be a smartwatch, and a water bottle, among other items. The paparazzo captioned the video, ‘Today, we received a thoughtful gift delivery at our residence. The esteemed power couple, Virat and Anushka, kindly sent the gift to express their appreciation for our happiness and the arrival of our second child.’
Anushka returned to India last month with her children. While giving the paparazzi a glimpse of her second child, she requested them not to take his picture.
‘Anushka Sharma gave an exclusive sneak peek of the baby to the paps at the airport and also promised to meet soon for a get together. She will pose herself but not when the kids are around. One may recall that, earlier, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had invited the paps to their residence for a get together. That time, Ranbir showed / revealed the angelic face of Raha to the paps from his phone! Even though she did not allow the paps to click photos or videos of her two kids, she did say that she would do a photo of herself when the kids are not around (sic),’ a paparazzo revealed.
In February, Anushka and Virat announced on social media, ‘With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay, Vamika’s little brother, into this world!’
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli married in December 2017. Anushka took a break from acting in 2018 after her film Zero. The couple welcomed their daughter, Vamika, in January 2021.
