Anushka Sharma pens heartwarming note, Virat Kohli goes viral for video calling wifey after India’s win

Every Indian is ecstatic and so is Anushka Sharma as India lifted the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy on Saturday night. The actor who always stands by her husband as his strongest pillar of strength took to her social media to pen a heartwarming note and shared the biggest concern that their daughter Vamika had.

Anushka shared an emotional post on Instagram, which can make your heart as well as make you cry. In her first post, Anushka shared some of the most beautiful and emotionally charged moments from the game including the picture of the team holding the World Cup trophy. In another picture, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma smiled brightly with trophy and the tricolour. Sharing these pictures of team India, Anushka wrote, “Our daughter’s biggest concern was if all the players had someone to hug them after she saw them cry on TV... Yes, my darling, they were hugged by 1.5 billion people. What a phenomenal victory and what a legendary achievement!! CHAMPIONS- CONGRATULATIONS!!” 

Anushka dedicated her second post to husband Virat Kohli and wrote, “And.... I love this man @virat.kohli. So grateful to call you my home- now go have a glass of sparkling water for me to celebrate this!”

Moments after India beat South Africa to clinch the trophy, he dialled his wifey Anushka Sharma from the stadium as she couldn’t attend. He was seen speaking to his family and blowing flying kisses, besides making adorable faces for his kids. The video quickly went viral, and the internet cannot help gushing over the star cricketer setting husband goals once again. Virat Kohli talking to Anushka with the winning smile on his face is melting hearts on social media.
