Millions of cricket lovers cheered for team India as they clashed with Pakistan in T20 World Cup match. Besides the cricket lovers, Indian team members also had the support of their loved ones. Anushka Sharma is in the US to support Virat Kohli and is often seen cheering her husband from the stands. Dhanashree Verma, wife of Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal also joined in to cheer team India.

After the nail-biting India Vs Pakistan match was over, the proud wives of Indian cricketers posed together for a group picture on Sunday. Dhanashree posted the picture featuring herself and Anushka Sharma on her Instagram handle. The two can be seen smiling brightly as they celebrated the victory with others. Dhanashree captioned the picture, “Hum jeet gaye (We’ve won).”

Being the biggest cheer leader of Virat Kohli, Anushka is often seen attending India’s matches. Several pictures of the actor celebrating India’s victory went viral on social media. Anushka radiated glow and looked gorgeous in a shirt over a T-shirt with denim jeans. 

The Bollywood actor had flown with her husband Virat Kohli to the US, along with their children, for the T20 World Cup and has been keeping him company. The famiy of four was spotted at Mumbai airport when they left. The power couple also posed with the airport staff and distributed gifts to paps as a sweet gesture for respecting their privacy.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot on December 11, 2017, after several years of dating. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Vamika, on January 11, 2021. They announced the birth of their son, Akaay, on February 15, 2024. 

On work front, Anushka will next be seen in 'Chakda 'Xpress', a biopic of former India cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Directed by Prosit Roy, the film will have an OTT release on Netflix.
