Anushka Sharma has posted for the first time in a while! The Bollywood actor, who recently welcomed her second child, son Akaay, with husband Virat Kohli, shared a happy picture, much to the delight of her Instagram family.

Anushka Sharma's first post since Akaay's birth

Anushka Sharma welcomed her second child, Akaay, in February. Since her final trimester, the actor has been away from social media for a couple of months. Sharma, who also has a daughter, Vaamika, with Virat Kohli, shared a candid picture of herself looking radiant as she grins from ear to ear.

In the latest picture, which is an ad for a smartphone brand, Anushka is seated on a cushion against the backdrop of a lush green setting. Dressed in an oversized white shirt paired with a pair of blue denims, Anushka is seen sporting her signature short hairdo. Giving a peek into what’s been keeping her busy, she wrote, “Morning sun and some reading time on my #OnePlusOpen—what better way to kickstart the day?” in the caption.

Virat on their two-month break

While Anushka is currently in London, Virat has returned to India for the IPL. Reflecting on his two-month break away from the spotlight with his family, the cricketer recently said, "We were not in the country. We were at a place where people were not recognising us. Just time together as a family, just to feel normal for two months. For me and for us as a family, it was a surreal experience."

Meanwhile, Anushka, on the film front, will be seen in 'Chakda 'Xpress.' The film is based on the life of former Indian cricket captain Jhulan Goswami.
