Actor Anushka Sharma on Sunday shared a post for her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, a day after he quit as the Test captain for the Indian cricket team.
Taking to Instagram, Anushka shared a couple of pictures of Virat wearing the white Test Jersey along with a note detailing how proud she is of him and his seven-year-journey as the Test captain.
She remembered the day when she, Virat and Dhoni had sat down a day after he was named the captain and the former captain cracked a joke about how Virat's hair will soon turn grey.
The ‘Zero’ actress Anushka said that Virat has flaws but he has never shied away from doing the right thing.
Calling the couple ‘young and naive’ when he was handed the duty, Anushka added that they thought that ‘just good intentions, positive drive & motives can take you ahead in life.’
Anushka concluded her post saying that their daughter Vamika is going to learn from him in years to come.
On the work front, Anushka had recently shared the teaser of her upcoming sports drama ‘Chakda Xpress’. She will be seen playing the role of Jhulan Goswami as she dons the Indian jersey with her girl gang.
