Musician and Singer AR Rahman's eldest daughter Khatija Rahman took to Instagram on Sunday to announce her engagement. Khatija got engaged to audio engineer Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed in an intimate ceremony on December 29 which also happens to be her birthday.
Sharing the news, she wrote, “With the blessings of the Almighty I’m happy to announce to you all my engagement with Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed, an aspiring entrepreneur and a wizkid audio engineer. The engagement happened on 29th December, my birthday in the presence of close family and loved ones,”.

Singers like Sreekanth Hariharan, Neeti Mohan congratulated Khatija and her fiance Riyasdeen. They were also joined by some fans who congratulated the couple on the big occasion. Khatija made her singing debut with Pudhiya Manidha songs from Rajnikanth's Enthiran. Khatija also lend her voice to Kriti Sanon’s 'Rock a bye baby' from Mimi.
