Arjun Kapoor’s special message for uncle Sanjay Kapoor: ‘You are somebody who has been my friend’

Actor Arjun Kapoor posted the sweetest birthday wish for chachu Sanjay Kapoor, who celebrated his 60th birthday in Dubai. The actor shared a video thanking his uncle for being by his side during a tough time in his childhood. In his caption, Arjun wrote, ‘Happy birthday Sanjay Chachu. Thank you for introducing me to the 'cool' side of the Kapoors. 60 has never looked better. Love you 3000 @sanjaykapoor2500! PS - Thank you for always making sure I was okay, being there & taking care of me...

Arjun’s video starts with him apologising to Sanjay Kapoor for not being with him during his special day. The actor then mentions how Sanjay has been a part of his life for so many years in many more ways than just being his chachu, his uncle. He said he has been somebody who has been his friend, made his first drink and made him go out and party.

‘Basically all the bad things. And, a lot of good things as well,’ he said.

He added, ‘You have been my company along the way when I faced a tough time as a child with my personal life, being linked to the family, and mum and dad going through whatever they did. I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.’

Arjun Kapoor also promised a surprise for Sanjay when he returns to Mumbai.

Sanjay was quick to respond to Arjun’s post. He commented, ‘Love you Arjun that’s so so sweet , missed you a lot last night, the celebration was incomplete without you’. Sanjay’s wife Maheep and daughter Shanaya also commented on the post with heart emojis.

On the work front, Arjun Kapoor was last seen in ‘Ek Villain Returns’ He has quite a few interesting projects in the pipeline like ‘Kuttey’ and ‘The LadyKiller’.
