Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ has been nominated for the Astra Film and Creative Arts Awards (ASTRA Awards) in the Best International Feature category. Hollywood Creative Alliance announced the nominations on December 7.
‘Oppenheimer’, ‘Killer of the Flower Moon’, ‘John Wick’, ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider Verse’, ‘Barbie’ and several other box office hits have joined the nomination list along with with ‘Jawan.’
Indian movie ‘Jawan’ is nominated for the best feature category alongside Anatomy of a Fall (France), Concrete Utopia (South Korea), Fallen Leaves (Finland), Perfect Days (Japan), Radical (Mexico), Society of the Snow (Spain), The Taste of Things (France), The Teacher’s Lounge (Germany), and The Zone of Interest (United Kingdom).
Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ earned 14 nominations while Greta Gerwig’s ‘Barbie’ got 15 nods. Taylor Swift’s ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ has been nominated in the Best Documentary Feature category.
The winners will be revealed on February 26, 2024, in Los Angeles.

‘Jawan’ was released in theatres on September 7, 2023. It went on to make 1160 Cr at worldwide box office. The film also featured Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. Deepika Padukone was seen in a guest appearance in the film. Sunil Grover, Ridhi Dogra, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Eijaz Khan, Lehar Khan and Girija Oak also played important roles.
