Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana and his wife, Tahira Kashyap's love has stood the test of time. Withstanding many storms, the couple continues to stick by each other through thick and thin, weaving their magical love story.  In their 16 years of marriage, Ayushmann and Tahira saw many ups and downs, but nothing could have prepared them for the emotional turmoil that they faced when Kashyap was diagnosed with 'stage 0' breast cancer.  But being the force of nature that she is and Ayushmann by her side, Tahira put on a brave front to undergo a mastectomy procedure and triumphed over the disease.

To celebrate her indomitable spirit on World Cancer Day, Ayushmann has now paid tribute to wife Tahira. He took to his official Instagram account to share a series of pictures of Tahira and wrote, "The girl I pulled by having samosa and chai at hut number 14 in Panjab University. ❤️ All the best for your debut at the @spokenfest today. 🙌 In love with your heart and spirit @tahirakashyap 🥹❤️ #WorldCancerDay.”

For the unversed, Tahira Kashyap was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018. She took to her Instagram account to share the health scare and wrote, ", “I was detected with DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ) in my right breast with high-grade malignant cells. Simply put stage 0 cancer/pre-cancerous stage, with cancer cells multiplying in a contained area. This mastectomy has left me with even more self-love! Mine has made me a 2.0 version of myself! This post is dedicated to the awareness, self-love and resilience of a warrior that I know each one of us possesses.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ayushmann was last seen in 'Dream Girl 2'. He will next feature in 'Badhaai Ho 2'. Directed by Amit Sharma, the film will release on December 15, 2024.
