A friendship that was forged in Singapore is growing further in Mumbai. Ayushmann and Eric get to know each other at the TIME 100 Impact Award in Singapore in 2023. The two met again in Mumbai and took their friendship to next level. While the two share a deep love for music, the two have bonded over food this time.

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana turned a wonderful host to South Korean singer Eric Nam as the latter was in Mumbai to perform at Lollapalooza music festival. The South Korean singer was hosted by Ayushmann Khurrana. The Bollywood actor treated Nam to different Indian delicacies including Kanda Bhajiya with green chutney & red chutney, Pindi Chole Amritsari Kulcha, Hyderabadi Gosht Biryani with Raaita and much more.

Speaking about his guest, Khurrana said, “I realised that Eric is a big foodie and I wanted to give him the best food experience of our country that he will never be able to forget! Our Incredible India is also known across the world for its culinary might!”

Overwhelmed with the actor’s hospitality, Nam showered praises on his newfound friend. Nam said, “He was such a gracious and welcoming host! We took a short but delicious culinary trip throughout India as he guided me through some of the tastiest dishes of this beautiful and vast country. I am an avid foodie and being able to try these diverse dishes in one sitting with Ayushmann as my guide was truly wonderful. I love India and it was so much fun tasting every corner of your country's incredible food palate. My favourite dish of the experience was chole and roti, and of course the fun conversations I shared with Ayushmann were a blast.”

For Eric Nam, it was his debut performance at Lollapalooza India 2024 on January 27 and 28. He has toured over 50 places across the globe.
