‘Bhediya’ (2022)
The Dinesh Vijan directorial stars Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. The film revolves around Bhaskar who is bitten by a wolf in the forests of Arunachal and now he begins to transform into a werewolf. He along with his friends seeks an answer to this.
The film, which is filled with many twists and turns, releases in theatres on November 25, 2022.
‘Phone Bhoot’ (2022)
Starring Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khattar, and Siddhant Chaturvedi, this film is about two bumbling ghostbusters who are approached by a benevolent ghost with a business plan. The Gurmmeet Singh directorial received mixed reviews at the box office. It was produced by Farhan Akhtar, and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner of Excel Entertainment.
‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ (2022)
The Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu starrer is the sequel to ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, starring Akshay Kumar. The film, directed by Anees Bazmee, shows how strangers Reet and Ruhan cross paths, and their journey leads them to an abandoned mansion that is haunted by the dreaded spirit Manjulika. This is the third highest-grossing Hindi film of 2022.
'Roohi' (2021)
Directed by Hardik Mehta, the film starred Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Varun Sharma in the lead role. The film revolves around Roohi who is kidnapped by Bhawra and Kattanni on the orders of Guniya Bhai, who wants to marry her off to his client. However, the boys soon realize that Roohi is possessed by a demon.
‘Stree’ (2018)
Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, the movie was directed by Amar Kaushik. It shows how the people of a small town Chanderi live in constant fear of 'Stree' who attacks men at night during festivals. Made on a budget of ₹20 crores, the film made a gross collection of ₹180.76 crores. ‘Stree’ entered the ₹100 crore club within 18 days of its release.
