'Bhediya' Twitter Review: Netizens are left divided, few praised the film while others say 'no horror'

'Bhediya', starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, is now in theatres. The Amar Kaushik directorial has opened to mixed reviews from the audience as well as from the critics. The film is being hailed for its VFX by some, while a few are criticizing it for not serving much-needed horror.

Calling Varun's transformation scene the ‘best of the decade’, a Twitter user praised the movie. 'The transformation scene from #Bhediya is the best scene of the decade. @Varun_dvn,’ is an actor who can transform from a comic character to an intense one within a fraction of second. One user called ‘Bhediya’ a masterpiece and one of the best films of 2022 and tweeted, '#Bhediya is masterpiece and one of the best film of 2022 Gripping screenplay with scary scenes is usp of film #Varundhawan deserve National award for his performance #kriitisanon is the real villain in film not curse of #Bhediya Rating : 4.5/5 Prediction : 205 cr net.'

Another user said that Varun has nailed the character and wrote, '#Bhediyareview IM SOLD GUYS! Goosebumps maxxxxx!This movie is beyond expectation. Dhaone nailed the character The VFX shots ,the soundss, the visuals everything is perfect continuously howling and screaming! Please my boi deserves all the praise literally all.'

Few netizens are unhappy with the film. Calling it ‘below average’ one user wrote, 'There’s no Horror, Below average Comedy, unnecessary gyaan on nature & north east stereotype, VFX minus the transformation scenes is poor, expected twist , post Credit scene was nice.'

Another user called the performances horrible and wrote, '#Bhediya - 3rd class sadakchhaap film with horrible performances and cheap attempt at copying werewolf.'
