Actor Bobby Deol discussed the 'negative aspects' of the Hindi film industry, highlighting how 'somewhere everybody brainwashes you’. In an interview with Times Now, Bobby also expressed disappointment with writers, directors, and producers.
Bobby said, ‘Sometimes you get lost, sometimes because of all the way the industry is reacting to you, you start choosing the more easy and secure path to move forward. You don't want to take challenges, you don't want to put yourself in a situation which is out of your comfort zone, because somewhere everybody brainwashes you. But that's what happens, that's something that is sad that happens to actors. And I luckily realized that, and I wanted to get out of it. And a lot of actors try doing that, but they still haven't been able to manage it. But I have.’
He further added, ‘Choices are something which is so difficult to make, and you tend to believe in something, and then you're let down by the writers or by the director and or the producer. You know, they don't want to make a film as a creative satisfaction' they want to just do it to make table profits and things like that. So, all that used to happen those days, and I guess things are changing now, and I think it was just high time when people started believing and, you know, changes,’.
In a recent interview with the Times of India, Bobby Deol delved into the sentimental side of his family dynamics, highlighting their open nature towards expressing emotions. Elaborating on this sentiment, Bobby mentioned, ‘Our entire family is deeply emotional. The Deol men aren't shy about shedding tears’ it's simply a natural part of who we are. Emotions like these are universal, though not everyone discusses them openly. We embrace our emotional nature proudly. It's a defining trait of the Deol family.’
Bobby Deol's career gained momentum after portraying an antagonist in Ranbir Kapoor's ‘Animal’. He is set to play a villain in a spy film starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, part of YRF's Spy Universe and directed by Shiv Rawail. Additionally, Bobby will feature in ‘Kanguva’ along with Suriya, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, and Yogi Babu, directed by Siruthai Siva.
