Bobby Deol to debut in YRF Spy Universe in film starring Alia Bhatt: Reports

After the massive success of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’, Bobby Deol’s career is back on track. The actor has reportedly bagged a big project with YRF. According to a Pinkvilla report, Bobby Deol will be soon seen in YRF Spy Universe film.  

Bobby Vs Alia clash soon? 

The report suggests that Bobby Deol will be clashing with Alia Bhatt in her upcoming YRF Spy Universe film. The actor has reportedly signed the film and will be playing a negative role. The film is reportedly yet to be titled.

“After Animal, this is yet another author-backed antagonist turn for Bobby Deol. He will be playing the terrifying evil force who takes on Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the film. The paperwork is done, and Bobby is all excited to start shooting for the film in the second half of 2024,” a source told Pinkvilla.  

The source also revealed that the actor will be seen in a different look in the film. Bobby and YRF are yet to make an official announcement on the same, however, Alia Bhatt starrer YRF Spy Universe film was confirmed when Yash Raj Films’ CEO said that Alia Bhatt is headlining a spy universe film.

On the work front, Bobby has been riding high on the success of ‘Animal’. His performance in the negative role earned him a Filmfare nomination as well as many praises from the critics and fans. The actor also has a Tamil film and two Telugu films in the pipeline.

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt has recently wrapped up shooting for ‘Jigra’ which will be released later this year. The film also stars Vedang Raina in key role. Besides this, Alia has also signed Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War’, which will also see Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in key roles.
