The trailer of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer 'Brahmastra' was unveiled on Wednesday and it has received a mixed response from Netizens. Post its release, #BoycottBrahmastra soon started trending on Twitter. Wondering why? Well, there are multiple reasons. Here's the first: A section of media was quick to spot Ranbir Kapoor wearing shoes inside a temple's premise and they were highly disappointed.

A few others trolled the film's trailer as they found it to be a mix of Hollywood superhits 'Aquaman' and 'Avengers'
The look of Mouni Roy's character Junoon also didn't go down well with the Netizens with some calling her a cheap version of Wanda.
'Brahmastra,' directed by Ayan Mukerji also stars Nagarjuna and Amitabh Bachchan This is Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's first film together.
'Brahmastra' will be released in cinemas on September 9.
