The makers of 'Brahmastra' released the first song of the film, titled 'Kesariya' on Sunday and the netizens are currently going crazy over the lyrics. The song features Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor romancing each other on the streets and ghats of Varanasi.
Although the soulful track crooned by Arijit Singh has been loved by some, others are cringing over a few lines in the love ballad. A bunch of social media users trolled the Hinglish line, 'love storiya' creating a meme fest on Twitter. Trolling the song, one of the users wrote that "the people could have just listened to “Mushkil Bada Ye Pyaar Hai” to get a word that rhymes with #Kesariya." While the other user tweeted that "an elaichi can ruin the entire biryani". Here are some other memes.
'Brahmastra Part One: Shiva' is Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's first film together. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, it also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles. The film is slated to release in cinemas on September 9.
