Cameron Diaz welcomes baby boy at 51 with husband Benji Madden: ‘He is awesome’

Actor Cameron Diaz, 51 and her musician husband Benji Madden, 45,  have welcomed a new member to their family. The couple welcomed their second child and shared the exciting news with their fans on Instagram.

Announcing the happy news, the couple wrote in a joint post, “We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our Son, Cardinal Madden. He is awesome and We are all so happy he is here!” The couple did not share the picture of their newborn for the privacy reasons. “For the kids safety and privacy we won’t be posting any pictures- but he’s a really cute,” the couple added. The couple said that they are feeling blessed and grateful. Their post also added an illustration with the words, “A little bird whispered to me.”

The happy announcement met with lots of love and good wishes from the friends and fans of the couple. Fans took to the comment section to wish the couple on addition of a new member.

Speaking about her husband Benji Madden, ‘The Holiday’ actor had shared with Jimmy Fallon on his late-night talk show that he is the ‘best dad’. “At home, he’s Benji, taking care of our child and managing his businesses, and then he steps on stage and transforms into this rockstar.” Diaz also said that Madden loves to sing to their daughter.  

Diaz and Madden exchanged their vows in 2015 and welcomed their first child on December 30, 2019. The couple had also announced the birth of their daughter Raddix on Instagram.
