Kartik Aaryan starrer ‘Chandu Champion’ witnessed a significant surge on day 3, achieving double-digit earnings. The Kabir Khan directorial earned ₹4.75 crore on day one and ₹7 crore on day two. Early estimates suggest the film made ₹10 crore on day three, bringing its total collection in India to ₹21.75 crore. The film had an overall 32.47% occupancy in Hindi on June 16.

With June 17 being an Eid holiday, ‘Chandu Champion’ has an opportunity to sustain its momentum at the box office. However, it will soon face competition from Nag Ashwin's highly anticipated film, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, set to release on June 27. In the meantime, ‘Chandu Champion’ is competing with the horror-comedy ‘Munjya’, which has already crossed the ₹50 crore mark.

‘Chandu Champion’ remains Kartik Aaryan's second-lowest weekend total since his debut film, ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’.

Before this film, his 2023 release ‘Shehzada’ earned ₹20.20 crore by the end of its opening weekend. Kartik’s first film post-pandemic, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, grossed ₹55.96 crore in its first weekend, while the romantic drama ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ also performed better with ₹37.35 crore over its opening weekend.
