‘Chandu Champion’ trailer: Katrina Kaif says ‘can’t wait’ for Kabir Khan directorial

The makers of Kartik Aaryan starrer ‘Chandu Champion’ released the trailer of the much-awaited film on May 18. The trailer showcasing Chandu’s journey from a survivor to becoming a champion has won over netizens. While fans are showering praises on the trailer of Kabir Khan directorial, Katrina Kaif also rallied behind the film.

Impressed by the trailer, Bollywood Diva took to her social media to show her appreciation. Taking to her Instagram story, Katrina Kaif re-shared the trailer of film and gave a shout-out to the director Kabir Khan. She wrote “looking superb @kabirkhankk can’t wait”.

The trailer of ‘Chandu Champion’ was launched in Gwalior which is also Kartik Aaryan’s hometown. The actor who underwent a massive physical transformation for the film called it the toughest and most special film of his career. He wrote, “With immense pride and joy, sharing the trailer of my career’s toughest and most special film that too from my hometown Gwalior where i dreamt of becoming an actor #Chandu Champion 🇮🇳👊🏻 , the story of a man who refused to surrender. Hope it touches your heart, entertains and inspires you to achieve your goals just like India’s pride Mr Murlikant Petkar.” 

More about ‘Chandu Champion’ 

The film draws inspiration from the life of India's inaugural Paralympic gold medalist, Murlikant Petkar, born on November 1, 1944, in Peth Islampur, Sangli, Maharashtra. Petkar, a talented athlete, particularly shone in wrestling and hockey. 

‘Chandu Champion’ marks the debut collaboration between Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan, and their second project with Sajid Nadiadwala after the successful ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha.’

Kartik Aaryan has some interesting projects lined-up. The actor is gearing up for the release of Kabir Khan directorial and is also filming ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ with Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri.
