The first trailer of Gujarati film ‘Chhello Show’ has been unveiled by Roy Kapur Films. The Pan Nalin-directorial is India's official entry for the 2023 Oscars.
Sharing the trailer, Roy Kapur Films wrote, 'The cinema is more than just a place…it is an experience. And #LastFilmShow is a cinematic experience like no other. Watch India's official entry to the #Oscars at a cinema near you on Oct 14th!'
The trailer highlights a young Gujarati boy’s love for cinema. It shows how he loves to watch movies all day and his fascination with filmmaking.
Earlier, speaking about its Oscars entry, Film Federation of India president TP Aggarwal told PTI that the film was unanimously chosen. He said, 'The 17-member jury unanimously chose Chhello Show. There were a total of 13 films of different languages including six in Hindi -- Brahmastra, 'The Kashmir Files, Anek, Jhund, Badhaai Do and Rocketry -- and one each in Tamil (Iravin Nizhal), Telugu (RRR), Bengali (Aparajito) and Gujarati (Chhello Show) as well as few others.'
‘Chhello Show’ will be out in theatres on October 14.
