Court summons Shilpa-Shamita Shetty and their mother Sunanda over non-repayment of loan

Mumbai's Andheri magistrate court has issued summons to actor Shilpa Shetty Kundra, her sister Shamita Shetty and their mother Sunanda Shetty.

They have been accused of not repaying a loan of ₹21 lakh to a businessman.

The summons were issued to the trio on Friday after an FIR was lodged against them at the Juhu police station by a businessman named Parhad Amra.

According to the businessman, Shilpa's late father borrowed ₹21 lakh in 2015 and was scheduled to pay it back in January 2017.

However, now the trio is reportedly refusing to pay the said amount back.

Shilpa, Shamita and Sunanda Shetty have been asked to appear before February 28.

Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty's father, Surendra Shetty passed away in 2016. He died after suffering a cardiac arrest on October 11, 2016.
