‘Crew’, starring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon, has had a fantastic start at the box office, earning nearly ₹ 29 crores on its opening weekend. Now, filmmaker Karan Johar has reviewed the heist comedy on his Instagram Stories.
Karan called the Rajesh A Krishnan directorial ‘unapologetic and super fun’. He lauded the lead actors Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon for killing it with their performances. He also gave a special shoutout to Diljit Dosanjh for his ‘mega’ screen presence.

Alia Bhatt recently praised the team behind ‘Crew’ for its record-breaking success at the box office. In her post, she commended the outstanding women both on and off-camera, stating, ‘This #Crew has smashed the BO. Congratulations to these outstanding women on and off camera!’ Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, the film, released theatrically on March 29, 2024, achieved the third-best opening of the year.
As per the latest report by Sacnilk.com, ‘Crew’ collected ₹ 10 crores on its third day of release. ‘Crew’ had a strong start, collecting ₹9.25 crore on its opening day. The film continued its successful run, on day two, earning ₹9.75 crore. With the third-day collection included, ‘Crew’ has amassed an estimated ₹29.25 crore in India so far. Additionally, the report mentioned that the film maintained a 30.00% occupancy rate on its Hindi screens in theatres.
‘Crew’ also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma in key roles. The film revolves around three air hostesses whose lives take a turn after they find a passenger smuggling gold biscuits under his shirt. It is made under Balaji Telefilms and Anil Kapoor Film & Communications Network banners.
