Popular singer Sonu Nigam made his first public appearance following an attack on him on Monday evening during his concert. He was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Tuesday morning. Sonu was greeted by the cameramen stationed there who asked him if he’s fine post the incident. The singer assured them several times that everything is all right. The cameramen also asked him to take care of himself.
Sonu Nigam and his team, who were performing in Chembur on Monday, were attacked by a man, identified as Swapnil Prakash Phaterpekar over a selfie. In the scuffle, Sonu’s guru Ghulam Mustafa Khan’s son and his close aid Rabbani Khan along with his bodyguard sustained some injuries. Later in the night, Sonu filed an FIR against the attacker and spoke to the media about the incident.
