‘Dhak Dhak’ trailer: Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, Fatima and Sanjana take a road trip to the Himalayas

The trailer of ‘Dhak Dhak’, starring Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanjana Sanghi, has been unveiled.

It shows how four women from different walks of life embark on a biking expedition to Khardung La, one of the world's highest motorable roads. The journey helps them rediscover themselves and creates a bond for a lifetime.

Actor John Abraham shared the trailer of the forthcoming film on his social media handles and lauded the makers.

He wrote, ‘4 ordinary woman on an epic bike journey. Distance: 1000 kms, Travel time: 10 days, Destination:18380 ft height Khardungla pass, highest motorable pass. Delhi to Leh. First time ever! Memories of a lifetime.’

Dia Mirza also shared the trailer on social media and wrote, ‘Rev up the engines onwards and upwards, to the mighty Khardung La. 4 ordinary women take 1 extraordinary journey to turn their dreams into reality by taking the roads less travelled.’

‘Dhak Dhak’, directed by Tarun Dudeja, is set to hit theatres on October 13, 2023.

The film is produced by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Taapsee Pannu and Pranjal Khandhdiya’s Outsider Films, in association with BLM Pictures. It is co-written by Parijat Joshi and Tarun Dudeja.

The film was shot in New Delhi, Greater Noida, Manali, Leh and Ladakh.

Taapsee ventured into film production with ‘Blurr’ and Dhak Dhak marks her second film as a producer.

Professional work front

Ratna Pathak Shah was last seen in the 2022 social comedy-drama ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’, starring Ranveer Singh and Shalini Pandey.

Dia Mirza was recently seen in Anubhav Sinha's ‘Bheed’, which was based on the COVID-19-induced lockdown in India and its consequences. She will be next seen in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki.

Sanjana Sanghi's last film was the 2022 action thriller ‘Rashtra Kavach Om’ with Aditya Roy Kapur. Fatima Sana Sheikh was last seen in the OTT film ‘Thar’.
