'Dilbar Dilbar' to 'Tip Tip Barsa Paani', Bollywood songs that have been recreated. Which one is better?

Several popular Bollywood tracks have been recreated over the last few years and dancing to these tunes has always been delightful.

Here's a look at the original vs remake of the songs-

'Saki Saki'

This iconic dance number is from the 2004 film ‘Musafir’. It featured Sanjay Dutt and Koena Mitra. Koena Mitra’s sensual dance moves made her a star overnight. The song was voiced by Sukhwinder Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan.
Fifteen years later, the new version was released, which was crooned by Neha Kakkar and Tulsi Kumar. The remake, which featured Nora Fatehi, is a chartbuster too.

'Dilbar Dilbar'

The original version of this track features Sushmita Sen and Sanjay Kapoor. It is from the 1999 film, ‘Sirf Tum’ and it was sung by Alka Yagnik.
In 2018, the song was recreated in the film 'Satyameva Jayate'.  It featured Nora Fatehi and John Abraham. Nora performed an Arabic belly dance in the song. It was sung by vocalists Neha Kakkar, Asees Kaur, and Dhvani Bhanushali.

'Chamma Chamma'

Actor Urmila Matondkar’s most famous dancing number in the ’90s from the movie ‘China Gate’ was voiced by Alka Yagnik.
Later, the song was recreated for the film, ‘Fraud Sainyan’. This time Elli Avram flaunted her sassy dance moves along with Arshad Warsi. Neha Kakkar crooned this song

'Ankhiyo Se Goli Maare'

This original dance number from the 1998 film ‘Dulhe Raja’ featured Raveena Tandon and Govinda. It was sung by Sonu Nigam.
The song was recreated in 2019 for Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday, and Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh'. The song, which was sung by Mika Singh and Tulsi Kumar, depicts the chaotic personality of the trio in the film.

'Tip Tip Barsa Paani'

Actor Raveena Tandon’s iconic rain dance number along with Akshay Kumar from the 1994 film ‘Mohra’ is immensely popular till date. The song was sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik.The song was remade for Rohit Shetty’s 'Sooryavanshi' and it showed the sizzling chemistry between Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. The song was crooned once again by the same vocalists.
