Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday starrer ‘Dream Girl 2’ is all set to release in cinemas on August 25. As part of the promotions, Sanjay Kapoor and Tusshar Kapoor have shot a video expressing their excitement about meeting Pooja.

The video shows them working out in a gym and quizzing each other about the reason for prepping hard. Tusshar mentions he has a special date soon, while Sanjay says he’s working out for pooja.

His statement makes Tusshar wonder why he’s working hard for a pooja and not a party.

When the two mention the same date, August 25, they start doubting if they are meeting the same Pooja.

The sequel of 2019 will see Ayushmann Khurrana play a man, who dresses up as a woman Pooja to collect money to repay his father’s debt.

In an interview with The Indian Express, Ayushmann Khurrana described his experience playing Pooja as ‘reaching the epitome of femininity’.

Talking further about jumping to comedy from his otherwise social-drama, he said, ‘It is the same genre of unconventional subject, out-of-box characters and bringing some novelty on screen. Around 25-30 years ago, Kamal Haasan sir and Govinda did it, but this is refreshing in the current generation, so I am excited. But this is that brand only but it has a wider palette and is more massy. Other than that all my films have always been middle-of-the-road cinema, this is front-bencher massy.’

‘Dream Girl 2’, directed by Raj Shaandilyaa, also stars Paresh Rawal, Abhishek Banerjee, Annu Kapoor and Vijay Raaz among others.
