A new promo of Ayushmann Khurrana's forthcoming film 'Dream Girl 2' was released on July 20.

Following the tradition of talking to famous characters of upcoming movies, this time Pooja gets a call from Ranveer Singh's Rocky from Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'.

In the promo, Rocky is heard praising Pooja for her saree and he then compares her with World Cup for returning after four years.

She calls herself 'trophy'.

Sharing the promo, the makers shared that 'ROCKYing surprise' will be arriving on July 25.

Ekta Kapoor wrote, 'Pooja ek tyohaar hai, pachees ko iss baar hai (Pooja is a festival, she is coming on 25th)! Your @pooja___dreamgirl arrives with a ROCKYing surprise on 25th July.'

'Dream Girl 2' also stars Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav among others.

'Dream Girl 2' was earlier scheduled to release in July, but the movie was pushed due to VFX work required for the film. The VFX work is critical as the movie stars Ayushmann as Pooja and Karan.

Speaking about the decision, Ekta Kapoor said, 'We want Ayushmann Khurrana's character to look perfect as Pooja in Dream Girl 2, and that's why we are taking extra time to perfect the VFX work for the face. We want to ensure that our viewers get the best possible experience when they watch the movie. The VFX work for Dream Girl 2 is an integral part of the movie, and we want to ensure that we deliver a high-quality product to our audiences.
