"It was actually hard for me as I was eight months pregnant then," she recalls. "There were times when little things like not being able to tie my shoelace or having morning sickness [that made it more challenging]," Neha adds.

During her interview, she revealed how she was asked to step down from two projects during her pregnancy.

"You have pregnant women in parliament; you have pregnant women in the corporate world; you have pregnant women everywhere. So why not have that on camera? In cinema?" she questions.

"I can discuss it as I have been through it. I got married at 38. I had my first kid and then second. I was very clear in my head that I would not go away from things I love. I had decided that I would go out and ask for work. If I still don't get work, I will create it. During my first pregnancy, I created work. I continued to work till the end," Neha recollects.

"Behzad is so brave as a director. He took that chance on me. He has not opened up an avenue just for thrillers and dramas, but for many other women who may be pushing their personal dreams aside for their professional choices," she concludes.
