'A Thursday' which stars Yami Gautam Dhar in the lead role, is receiving a lot of love from the audience. The film had managed to pique the interest of thriller lovers the moment the trailers hit the screens.

In the film, Yami Gautam steals the show and makes it evident that she is here to stay. In an exclusive conversation with editorji, Yami says, "I felt really good getting messages from people. The feeling is overwhelming. I told Behzad (Director) that it's not going to be easy, but I will take this challenge. We had to do a lot and build it from scratch."

On her career choices, she says, "I am so lucky to have started my career with Vicky Donor. As you move into the industry, you realise there is so much more than what you expected it to be. Aditya keeps saying never to give up, which you didn't."

Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar's wedding pictures went viral and people loved the simplicity. Their traditional Himachali wedding became the talk of the town. On the choice of hosting a simple wedding Yami expresses, "You should do what makes you happy. There shouldn't be any pressure of any sort."

"When I was growing up, I saw pictures of my mother and grandmother, and I wanted to be a bride just the way they were. In terms of fashion, what our mothers and grandmothers have is a treasure. I was very happy and I think that has reached people. I would like to say that our customs and traditions are beautiful. It's your day and decide what you want to do," she concludes.
