Kangana Ranaut has started shooting for her much-awaited film ‘Emergency’. The actor took to Instagram on Thursday and shared her first look as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. She also shared an intriguing teaser of the film, captioned: "Presenting ‘Her’ who was called ‘Sir’." #Emergency shoot begins.’ We must say that she has aced the look of the Iron Lady.
The video opens with a staff member approaching Indira Gandhi to enquire if she can be addressed as 'madam' by the President of India. She initially says yes but tells the man to inform the President that in her office she is referred to as 'sir' and not 'madam'
The comment section of her post is flooded with praises from fans. One user wrote that the "Legend is back," while another commented "outstanding 'sir'."
Kangana roped in renowned prosthetic makeup artist David Malinowski for the film.
‘Emergency’ has been written by Ritesh Shah, the writer of her last film 'Dhaakad'. The film is being made under Kangana's production banner, Manikarnika Films.
