Superstar Shah Rukh Khan appeared to be in a good mood when he was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Tuesday night. The actor, who has avoided shutterbugs lately, pleasantly surprised everyone by engaging with fans and photographers at the airport after being spotted.

Shah Rukh graciously shook hands with fans, one of whom, a photographer, went further and kissed his hand, displaying affection. Despite reactions from his entourage, the actor continued to smile, clearly enjoying the interaction. Dressed sharply in a black t-shirt, jacket, and cargo pants, with his hair tied back in a ponytail, Shah Rukh exuded charm.

Recently, rumours circulated that the actor contributed to the release of eight army veterans detained in Qatar on espionage charges, especially after his recent visit to the country. He met with Qatar's Prime Minister and attended the AFC final as a special guest.

His manager Pooja Dadlani issued a statement from the actor that read, ‘Regarding the reports concerning Shah Rukh Khan's purported role in the release of India's naval officers from Qatar, the office of Mr. Shah Rukh Khan says that any such assertions of his involvement are unfounded, emphasizing the execution of this successful resolution solely rests with the Indian government officials and unequivocally denies Mr. Khan's participation in this matter.’

Recent work front

In 2023, Shah Rukh Khan enjoyed success with the release of his comeback films ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan,’ both breaking box office records and garnering positive reception. However, his latest release ‘Dunki,’ towards the year-end, received mixed reviews despite decent box office performance.

Shah Rukh Khan is now likely to share the screen with KGF star Yash for his upcoming movie, ‘Toxic’. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this as of now.
