'Faraaz' trailer: 'Standing tall against bigotry', says Hansal Mehta

The trailer of the much-anticipated action thriller 'Faraaz' has been unveiled. The film stars Zahaan Kapoor, Aditya Rawal, Juhi Babbar, and Aamir Ali among others. The film is based on the real-life terror attack on a Dhaka Cafe in 2016.

Director Hansal Mehta shared the trailer of the film on Twitter, and wrote, 'Standing tall against bigotry. Presenting the trailer of #Faraaz. Proudly releasing on February 3.'

The trailer opens with a glimpse of customers enjoying their meals at the Holey Artisan Cafe in Dhaka, Bangladesh on July 1, 2016. The café is taken over by terrorists and they start killing innocent people. Police is also be seen making plans against the terrorist attack.

Zahaan Kapoor, son of Kunal Kapoor and grandson of late actor Shashi Kapoor, also features in the trailer as one of the customers. He is seen saving children and fighting with the terrorists inside the cafe. 

'Faraaz' is set to release in theatres on February 3. The film is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, Anubhav Sinha's Benaras Mediaworks along with Mahana Films - Sahil Saigal Sakshi Bhatt and Mazahir Mandasaurwala. The film also had a grand world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival in 2022.
