The couple met on the sets of a reality TV show in 2015. Farhan Akhtar was a host at the show and Shibani was a contestant. 

Soon, the power couple was spotted hanging out together and was often clicked by the paps. In 2018, Farhan and Shibani made their first public appearance as a couple at Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding reception in Mumbai.
