Actor and singer Farhan Akhtar’s music band FarhanLive was scheduled to perform at Sydney’s Hillsong Convention Centre and at Melbourne’s Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre on March 4 and 5, respectively. However, he recently shared that he has now called off the Australian tour.

Taking to social media, Farhan shared a note that read, ‘To my fans in Australia, Due to unforeseen circumstances, our band FarhanLive, has had to call off our Australia tour. We will not be able to travel to Sydney and Melbourne this coming weekend. Please believe me when I say that we share your disappointment. However, I do hope to come to your beautiful country in the near future and perform for you.'

Sharing the post, he dropped a broken heart emoticon in the comment section.

Fans too were disappointed with the news. A user wrote, ‘Was looking forward to hosting the Sydney show! Well, let’s hope that happens soon.’

For the unversed, Sydney is home to Farhan Akhtar in many ways. One of his top films ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ was filmed there. Also, his wife Shibani Dandekar spent majority of her childhood in Sydney.
