Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar wish father Javed Akhtar with adorable birthday posts

Veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar is celebrating his birthday today, January 17. On his special day, his children Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar have extended heartfelt wishes on social media.  

Taking to Instagram, filmmaker Zoya shared a throwback monochromatic picture of her father and wrote, ‘Happy Birthday Pa ️ #javedakhtar #bombay #1964.’

Many celebrities including Hrithik Roshan and Abhay Deol wished the lyricist in the comment section. Hrithik wrote, ‘Happy birthday Javed uncle.’

Farhan Akhtar also took to social media and shared a beautiful picture of his father along with an adorable note. Sharing the picture, he wrote, ‘Happy birthday pa. You know what you mean to me and to every person who’s life, thinking and work you have influenced for the better. Love you.’

Soon after Farhan shared the post, his wife Shibani Dandekar and actor Chunky Panday extended their best wishes for the lyricist.

Actor Dia Mirza shared a photo with the legend and wrote, ‘Your words, wisdom and wit is our wealth. Happy birthday Javed Saab. Such a privilege to know you and share space with you. All my love and respect @jaduakhtar. Thank you @azmishabana18 for making me a part of your lives.’
