‘Fighter’: Bipasha Basu gives a shoutout to husband Karan Singh Grover as makers unveil his look

Actor Karan Singh Grover, renowned for his role as Dr. Armaan Malik in ‘Dill Mill Gayye,’ is all set to appear in Siddharth Anand's highly anticipated movie, ‘Fighter.’

The makers revealed his look and character details on December 12. In line with Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor, Karan will portray an Air Force pilot in the movie.

Karan will star as Squadron Leader Sartaj Gill in the movie.

In the poster, he is seen dressed crisply in army attire, and a badge featuring his call name, Taj Gill is adorned on his chest.

Sharing his film look on social media, Karan wrote, ‘Squadron Leader Sartaj Gill Call Sign: Taj Designation: Squadron Pilot Unit: Air Dragons #Fighter Forever 🇮🇳 #FighterOn25thJan’.

Karan’s wife and actor Bipasha Basu also shared the poster on social media and wished him luck for the forthcoming film.

‘All the best,’ she captioned the post. In the comments, she wrote, ‘Handsome Hot Hubby.’

Actor Dia Mirza also reacted to Karan being a part of the film and commented, ‘This makes me so so happy.’ Actor Surbhi Jyoti wrote, ‘Woooaahhhh.’

Karan’s close friend and ‘Dil Mill Gaye’ co-actor Ayaz Khan added, ‘Rock it bro @iamksgofficial.’

Karan Singh Grover had a blink-and-miss appearance in the film’s teaser, which was released a couple of days ago. He was seen dancing with Hrithik and Deepika in the clip.

As per the makers, Fighter ‘promises an immersive narrative seamlessly intertwining adrenaline-pumping action and fervent patriotism, setting the stage for an unprecedented cinematic experience.’

Earlier, the makers had revealed that Hrithik Roshan features as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania (call sign: Patty) and Deepika Padukone plays Squadron Leader Minal Rathore. Anil Kapoor was introduced as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh, known by his call sign Rocky.

Presented by Viacom18 Studios in association with Marflix Pictures, ‘Fighter’ will hit the theatres on January 25, 2024.
