‘Fighter’, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, has garnered immense praise from the audience and the critics as well. The Siddharth Anand directorial has also been performing exceptionally well at the box office. The movie made an impressive start with an opening collection of Rs 22.50 crore, and it saw a steady increase in its earnings compared to its release day.
Over the first three days of its release, ‘Fighter’ raked in an estimated net collection of Rs 89.50 crore in India. On the fourth day, it is estimated to have earned approximately Rs 28.50 crore net for all languages. This brings the total net collection in India to Rs 118 crore, as reported by Sacnilk.com.
In terms of occupancy, the morning shows for ‘Fighter’ began with 20.29 percent, but this figure surged to over 35.54 percent during the evening shows, indicating a growing interest and viewership.
The film’s global collection stands at the Rs 150.5 crore mark.

‘Fighter’ has a runtime of 2 hours and 46 minutes, and it has been granted a U/A certification by the Central Board of Film Certification.
In addition to Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, the film features an ensemble cast that includes Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Talat Aziz, Pradum Shukla, and Pradum Jaykar in significant roles.
This movie marks the third collaboration between Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone with director Siddharth Anand. Hrithik had previously worked with the filmmaker in ‘Bang Bang’ and ‘War,’ while Deepika had collaborated with him in ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ and ‘Pathaan.’
Produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, the film has references to the 2019 Pulwama attack, 2019 Balakot airstrike and 2019 India-Pakistan border clashes.
‘Fighter’ sequel
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, director Siddharth Anand discussed the possibility of a sequel. He stated, ‘The audience will decide. We’ll see. It’s been just three days since the film release. I think audience ka pyaar (love) will decide what we will do, and we would love to make Fighter 2 a larger story. We have some great ideas that we want to put it down to.’
