Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda are all set to star in Zoya Akhtar's next Netflix drama ‘The Archies’. Archie Andrews and his gang from the comic books will now be seen in an OTT movie version in India. The live-action musical, directed by Zoya Akhtar, is set in 1960s India. Tiger Baby and Graphic India are backing the Indian adaptation of the legendary comics.

Sharing the poster of the film's cast, the makers asked the audiences to grab some picnic baskets and pick out the cutest outfits as they greet the Archies’ gang.

While sharing the teaser of sorts, introducing us to other characters from the film, the makers' post read that ‘The sun is out, the news is out! Come meet new friends’.

The legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan also shared the film’s poster with the caption ‘another SONrise .. my GrandSON .. all the blessings Agastya  .. love you’.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan posted wishes for his daughter Suhana Khan. He captioned the post as, "And remember @suhanakhan2 you are never going to be perfect….but being yourself is the closest to that. Be kind and giving as an actor….the brickbats and applause is not yours to keep….the part of you that gets left behind on screen will always belong to you….u have come a long way baby….but the road to peoples heart is unending…..stride forth and make as many smile as you can. Now let there be Light….Camera and Action!"

Suhana is Shah Rukh Khan's daughter, while Khushi Kapoor is (late) Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's younger daughter. Agastya is Amitabh Bachchan's grandson. Besides them, the film also stars Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda in lead roles.

According to the reports, Agastya will be seen playing the role of Archie Andrews, while Khushi and Suhana will be seen as Betty and Veronica.
