Five popular movies of Saif Ali Khan that you need to watch

Saif Ali Khan has always amazed the audience with his excellent performances. From being a ‘Roadside Romeo’ to being an action hero, the actor has given his best in every character. 

Let's take a look at five of his best movies. 

Dil Chahta Hai (2001)
Directed by Farhan Akhtar, the 2001 movie is counted as one of the best romantic movies of its time. The movie starred Saif Ali Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Dimple Kapadia, Preity Zinta and Sonali Kulkarni in the lead roles. It narrates the story of three close friends who go their separate ways after college as they have different approach towards relationships. Years later, they reunite as they have a better understanding of love. 

Kal Ho Na Ho (2003)
Starring Saif Ali Khan along with Preity Zinta and Shahrukh Khan, the movie won many hearts. Saif played the role of a Rohit, dear friend of Naina, played by Preity. The two eventually get married with the help of Aman (Shah Rukh Khan), who plays a matchmaker between them. 

Hum Tum (2004)
The film won him the Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Comic Role in 2005. The film, which featured Rani Mukherji opposite Saif, narrated the story of Karan and Rhea who bump into each other at different stages of their lives. 

Cocktail (2012)
Starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty, the romantic comedy is a love triangle between a guy and two girls, who are best friends but with completely different personalities. 

Omkara (2006)
An Indian adaptation of William Shakespeare’s 'Othello', the film stars Saif Ali Khan, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Konkona Sen Sharma, Vivek Oberoi, and Bipasha Basu. Saif portrayed the role of Langda Tyagi, the antagonist in the movie, who dreams of becoming Omkara's successor after he wins the elections. Saif's performance was appreciated by the fans and he won the Filmfare Award for Best Villain in 2007.
