‘Freddy’, starring Kartik Aaryan and Alaya F, is now available to watch on Disney+ Hotstar. The Shashanka Ghosh directorial chronicles the tale of an introverted dentist Freddy Ginwal who has a darker side as the night wears on.

Soon after watching the film, netizens flooded Twitter with their review. A majority of the audience has enjoyed the film and are showering praises on Kartik for acing the role. However, there are a few who found the film ‘predictable’.

Here’s a quick look at some of the reactions.

A Twitter user wrote that ‘Freddy’ reminded him of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Darr’ and ‘Anjaam’, and said that Kartik Aaryan is now his second favourite star after King Khan. Another user wrote that Kartik has outperformed himself in this spine-chilling revenge thriller. He said the story is ‘predictable’ but ‘intriguing throughout’.

A netizen also pointed out that the only con in this masterpiece by Kartik is that it should have been released in theatres and not on OTT platform.

A Twitter user wrote that 'Freddy' is a good watch due to Kartik's superb act but could have been better. The two negatives according to him – are predictable and climax.
